Cleveland Browns rookie QB Shedeur Sanders is trying to hog the spotlight again after Dillon Gabriel was named the starter for their Week 5 matchup against the Vikings and Doug Gottlieb isn’t surprised. Being humble is one of the most important traits in a leader and Shedeur seems completely incapable of even faking it, which is why he may never get the starting nod.
Doug Gottlieb: “It’s not Rex Ryan. It’s not me. It’s not (Kevin) Stefanski. It’s not anybody else. It’s him…you’ve had a good college career, so you’ve gotten a bunch of money, so you want to flash it? Like, OK. There’s a reason quarterbacks don’t do it…the trade-off is you’ve got to act humble. I mean it’s even better when you ARE humble, but you’ve got to at least act humble, and he can’t do it. And that’s why he can’t be a starting quarterback.”
