Folk Americana Roots Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony At Boch Center Tuesday

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame announced the performers and presenters for its second annual induction ceremony happening at the Boch Center.

Judy Collins, Tom Rush, and Tom Paxton are the three living inductees that will also be performing at the ceremony. Additional performers and presenters include Brad and Graham Whitford, Paula Cole, Maggie Rose, Brendan Cleary, Crys Matthews, Ari Hest, Chrissi Poland, Bobby Rush, Lizz Wright, Quinn Sullivan, Dom Flemons, Vance Gilbert, Noel Paul Stookey, Don Law, Joe Spaulding, Anna Canoni, and John Oates, to name a few.

As for the inductees, Jackson Browne, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Tom Rush, and Neil Young are the living artists being inducted into the Hall, and Leonard Cohen, Aretha Franklin, Mississippi John Hurt, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Muddy Waters will be inducted as legacy artists. John Hammond and Alan Lomax will be inducted as non-performers, as they were more involved in the industry side of the music world.
