Crash In Chatham Leaves Police Officer, 2 Others Injured

CHATHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A three-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Crowell Road in Chatham has left a police officer and two other people injured.

The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Northgate Road. It involved a Ford Police Explorer, a Jeep Cherokee, and a Jeep Wrangler.

According to police, the officer suffered minor injuries. The two other drivers suffered major injuries. All three were taken to Cape Cod Hospital. No identities have been released.

Police did not say what caused the crash. The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council's Crash Reconstruction Team and the Barnstable County Sheiff's Office are investigating the crash.
