BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The NHL’s 2026 Trade Deadline has come and passed, and the Boston Bruins did not make any major moves on their NHL roster.

Coming off a mass departure in 2025 from key players like Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, and Brandon Carlo, this year’s deadline was much quieter in Boston.

The team did add Likas Reichel from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

Reichel, 23, has appeared in 19 games with Vancouver and Chicago this season, tallying two goals and three assists for five points.

They also made a trade at the minor league level acquiring forwards Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo from the Philadelphia Flyers system in exchange for forward Brett Harrison and defenseman Jackson Edward. Neither Harrison nor Edward have any NHL experience.

Gendron, 22, has appeared in 47 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season, recording 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points.

Rizzo, 24, has appeared in 29 games with the Reading Royals (ECHL) this season, recording six goals and 16 assists for 22 points.

The Bruins currently hold a 34-22-5 record with 73 points, placing them into the 2nd and final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
