California quake causes more than $100 million in damages

Southern California Hit By Second Big Earthquake In Two Days

California Governor Gavin Newsom is estimating the 7.1 magnitude quake on Friday left behind more than $100-million in damage. The quake rattled Southern California just one day after a magnitude 6.4 quake shook the area. Newsom traveled to Ridgecrest Saturday to survey the damage after declaring a state of emergency on Friday night. Damaged roads all appear to have been repaired and reopened since then. Newsom has said that President Donald Trump has reached out to offer federal aid.
