The FDA is taking another look at the safety of breast implants. A panel of experts are meeting with researchers, plastic surgeons and implant makers today, and also met yesterday. The meeting comes just two days after the administration issued letters to two implant manufacturers for failing to comply with the agency's requirements. Also, the FDA and other regulators are grappling with how to manage a recently confirmed link to a rare cancer.
