The Dodgers will sign free agent RF Kyle Tucker as the rich get richer in Major League Baseball. With Tucker’s four year/$240M contract, they now have over $2B in payroll on the books (much of it deferred) and it’s clear they aren’t bothering to look at the price tag when placing their order.
Dan Patrick: “When you go shopping, you don't worry about the price tag, or when you go to a restaurant and you don't order by looking at what the price is and work your way back, that's the Dodgers. They order from the left side of the menu; they don't worry about what that price tag is.”
