WATCH: Patriots' Edelman, McCourty Present Award To Lady Gaga At Grammys

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Heck of a week for Julian Edelman.

A week ago yesterday, the Patriots receiver won Super Bowl 53 and was named the game's Most Valuable Player . The next morning, a trip to Disney World with Tom Brady to parade through the Magic Kingdom. That was followed by the Patriots' duck boat parade and a chance to spike the puck before a Bruins game. Edelman then lost his majestic beard when Ellen DeGeneres shaved it on national TV .

And last night, he and teammate Devin McCourty presented the first award at the Grammy's.

"We made it, man," McCourty told the crowd. "LA, thank you for the cheers, also thank you for the boos—I appreciate you supporting your community."

"We're here tonight with music's Most Valuable Players to present a very super award," Edelman said, before presenting the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for the song "Shallow" from A Star Is Born.

Edelman also got a shout-out from famed music industry exec Clive Davis at the pre-Grammys gala.

"I'm not sure, geographically, this is the best place to introduce him, because he's a member of the reigning championship team, the New England Patriots, and he happens to be this year's Super Bowl Most Valuable Player," Davis said, and the crowd cheered for Edelman.
