Ariana Grande Breaks Silence About Mac Miller Break Up

On Thursday (May 10) morning, news broke that Ariana Grande and Mac Miller broke up after almost two years of being together.

TMZ revealed the news of the sudden split. "We're told Ariana and Mac quietly cut off their romantic relationship after their work schedules became too busy, but they've remained best friends since then ... as always," the outlet claimed. "Our sources say the ex-couple love each other dearly and that will continue to be the case but, again ... just as close friends."

What made this news even more shocking was the fact that the two were recently spotted together at this year's Coachella. Plus, on social media, Miller showed love to Grande's new "No Tears Left To Cry" single, which is featured on her upcoming Sweetener album. We suppose that the Side To Side singer felt all of her fans' confusion about the split because she just broke her silence about the break up.

On Grande's Instagram story, she captioned a picture of the both of them cuddling on a couch, “Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the plant Malcolm McCormick.” She continued: “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you.” Take a look at the message below.
